Shannon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University, where she received a Music Activity Scholarship for her participation in the LSU Tiger Marching Band as an LSU Golden Girl.  She began her career at KPMG in the financial services audit division and earned her CPA certification in 1998.  Shannon continued her career in the Corporate Reporting and Consolidations group at Dynegy, Inc until temporarily retiring for motherhood and volunteerism.  After 5 years, she re-entered the workforce and has worked as a CPA ever since in the areas of audit, tax, litigation support and other general business matters.  Shannon has a hands-on client service style and excels at client relationships and accessibility.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as its Houston chapter.

Shannon has two beautiful children and a beloved adopted dog named Leo.  She enjoys growing client relationships, international travel, snow skiing and cheering on her children at their baseball & equestrian events.
