Anka has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on matters involving tax consulting and planning and compliance in the federal and multi-state tax areas for corporations and partnerships. His background also includes extensive experience assisting clients with ASC 740 tax provision services and IRS audit support.

Anka’s industry experience includes upstream and midstream energy, oilfield services, construction, manufacturing and distribution for companies ranging in size from startups to those with several subsidiaries and significant global operations. He also serves portfolio companies of private equity firms and for family-owned businesses and its owners.

Anka spent over 20 years at BDO as a Tax Managing Director and was the leader of his corporate tax group. He was responsible for managing the scheduling function of the corporate group and was recognized for his ability to train, coach and help with the professional career progression of members of his team.

Anka has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He is fluent in Chinese, Mandarin and, Cantonese.
