Cheri earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Houston Baptist University in 1988 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1991.  She joined HL&B in 1997 and has focused on tax and accounting services primarily for closely held businesses and not-for-profit entities.  Her experience covers a broad range of clients across many industries including construction contractors, financial institutions, real estate, and professional service providers.

Cheri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Away from the office, Cheri likes to read, travel, and spend time with her family including their loveable weimaraner.
